Preeti is an Associate Chartered Accountant and has over 6 years of experience in direct taxes, accounting systems and procedures, reengineering of business processes in accordance with internal controls, conducting audits, reporting to management.
She was associated with the Direct Tax team of one of the Big4s for 3 years in Transaction Tax and later gained experience as Head of Region Finance in a reputed FMCG company where she was involved in leading the finance team on the day to day activities and business decision making
Preeti is currently in charge of accounting compliances and reporting and is also engaged with various clients on:
- Provided advisory services in the areas of Indian Taxation, International Tax and the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) - US, UK and Singapore Taxation
- Business restructuring advisory and implementation i.e., evaluating various options like amalgamation, demerger, slump sale/hive off, buy back , capital reduction etc for various entities
- Verification of Internal Controls and identifying alternative processes leading to value growth and effectiveness;
- Accounting Controller and Financial Controller services including supervision and review of accounting staff’s work, Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, Budgets and Forecasting. Cash Flow Management, Financial Analysis and Modeling, Liaisoning with External Contact Points (Banker, Attorney etc.)
